Digital Counter Need of the Hour



In today’s advancing technological era digitalization has played a major hand in the development of technological usage. Everywhere from domestics to small scale industries and to large scale worldwide spread industries we have started making the prudent use of technological framework. The application of scientific rules and laws has brought our world so much ahead of times that every single task needs to apply it one way or the other. In fact, to carry out any activity systematically we apply the scientific approach. This application is what technology is all about and it has made us bid adieu to the simplicity of earlier times but that is only for the better. The design of Digital Counter and its construction is far easier than many machinery products. Here is the theory of Digital Counter Construction-
Single bit storage and counting device flip flop is used in collective numbers as basic element that after being fed by clock pulses increases the digit count by one which is recorded and shown on the screen. The logic is simple sequential one that goes on counting one by one the numbers. There are many different types of Digital Counters available that differ in usual practice but being same fundamentally. Among these many counters the best one is considered to be binary or ripple counter that makes use of asynchronous clock pulse and J-K Flip Flops.
