era. The electronic revolution all over the world has produced several amazing
things. We can’t even imagine a life without electronics products. People have
become so much addicted to electronic instruments that half their life relies
on these products. From human day to day usage such as mobile phones,
refrigerators & computers to specific purpose applications like medical
equipments & industries electronics plays a vital part, through one way or
the other. There are a number of electronics products in human use for long,
now.
One of such products, now a day,
is pH meter. The pH meter is an electronic device, very
small in size that measures the power of Hydronium ions (H+) present
in liquids. The measure of this level is also known as level of acidity or
alkalinity. This numerical measure of Hydronium ions is called pH value. If
this pH value of the liquid is less than 7 it means that the liquid is acidic &
while if the same value is more than 7 then the substance is alkaline or basic.
The ideal pH value of water is in between 7.6 & 8.4. Electronics, being a
branch of physical science, supports human life for better. The product pH Controller can be used in various

specific importance in domestics as well. This is such a utility product that
can never be limited in its use because water is a health supplement without
which life on earth is unimaginable. The pH
meter is designed by including an LCD screen and electrodes. The Integrated
Circuits and calculation programs are embedded inside and are attached with the
electrodes so that it could count the number of H+ ions.
The calculation formula is
already programmed and embedded into the product and therefore gives exact
results. This result is displayed on the LCD screen from where we can easily
read & record the value. If pH value
is lesser than the standard value then we say that water is acidic while if the
value is greater than the standards then the water is alkaline in nature. In
both the cases, however, water in not usable and we need to apply means to make
it usable.
The pH meter should be handled very carefully. Being delicate it is
used to measure alkalinity or acidity of such life-conducting factors like
water, if there remains any error in measurement of it then it could prove to
be fatal. Standard temperature, careful-balanced connection of wires & not
using the extreme pH leveled products needs to be practiced with it.
