Humidity Meter

Humidity Meter - Important Industrial Tool
As the world became advance so the technology is. It’s the natural rule of nature that if the moisture content arises in environment humidity also arises and vice versa. You can yourself see the various examples of this rule in your daily life. You can easily find it mostly in those season’s where the level of temperature fall down and the wetness is more in the surrounding environment.
Therefore, Humidity meter is the important industrial tool to solve various problems related to moisture content in the air.
In which season humidity is more?
In rainy season the temperature is low so the full evaporation of water vapors does not take place. Thus, level of moisture rise in this season. These vapors absorb infra red light and reflects green light that’s why the term “selective absorber” is coined for these water vapors.  This creates the problem of wrapping, cupping, cracking and shrinking in wood products.
What is the device used to measure moisture?
Now we know that why vapors are present in air but how can we measure the correct amount of water in the atmosphere. Here comes, the Humiditymeter it is a device by which you can exactly tell the quantity of moisture in the atmosphere.
What are the different scales to measure Humidity?
There are three different measurements which are used to elucidate dampness and that are described below:
v  Absolute humidity: It shows how much amount of water is present in the air. It is dependent upon two things that are temperature and pressure. If these two things change then the absolute humidity also changes.
v Relative Humidity:  It functions is to regulate water quantity and temperature level in the atmosphere. It represents the partial ratio of pressure (of water content) in the mixture of air and water in respect to saturated vapor pressure.
v  Specific Humidity: It’s the ratio of water in the dry air in a fastidious mass. It is also said that specific humidity explains the total water content in the whole system including the dry air and water vapor.

What are its uses?
The uses of this meter are explained below:
1.       fermentation chambers
2.        green houses
3.        glove boxes
4.        incubating eggs
5.        data loggers
6.        saunas
7.        These are also used to take care of wooden instruments like guitars, violins so that they cannot get damage by improper level of humidity.
8.       In paint industry, hygrometers are used to maintain the required level of humidity because paint coatings are sensitive to moisture.
9.       In house, this instrument is used to maintain the optimum level of humidity so that it prevents the growth of dust mite.

Due to uprising usage of this Humidity Meter, the demand of this product is raising a lot.
